At 12:30 p.m. there will be a concert with the Irish Army Pipe Band in front of Lexington History Museum. This will be the first time an Irish Army Pipe Band has been in Lexington and will be accompanied with some Irish step dancing.
The Lexington St. Patrick’s Day parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. It will start at the corner of Midland and Main and will be followed by an Irish heritage festival on Upper Street between Main and Vine.
At 7:30 p.m. An Dochas, Irish for “The Hope,” will be performing at the Singletary Center for the Arts. This young Irish Rock/World music band will be performing traditional Irish music with a twist of modern genres.
