Ummmm….WOW!  Folks, I’ve gotta tell you- there is SO much good and new coming out of the family music scene right now.  It’s actually a little mind blowing, and I have to admit that I’m having a little trouble keeping up with it all.  Apologies!  (If you’re a regular reader, you may have noticed that its been some time since we updated our blog.  SERIOUSLY.  Drowning in new music here.)  I suppose there are worse problems to have, right?

This week we played new or recent music from Oran Etkin, the Many Hands compilation, Lucky Diaz, Caspar Babypants and Brian Vogan and His Good Buddies.  We also played a birthday request from The Carolina Chocolate Drops for Joleigh, who turned 3 this week!  It was, in fact, the hippest request I think I’ve ever gotten from a three year old.  You go, Joleigh!  AND we had requested music from Donovan, too!.

Here you go:

Oran Etkin– “Wake Up Clarinet!”- Wake Up Clarinet
Selloane with Famoro Dioubate– “Shortnin’ Bread”- v/a Putumayo Kids Presents Jazz Playground
